This morning I am inviting you to think way back into Hebrew history. Lets say from the baby Moses on.
What is the one constant strain -- theme -- running through the centuries. One request that God continually asks from his people.
Actually, if we are careful how we interpret, this request has to do with the very first request God spoke of to His human creatures.
And it isn't not eating the fruit of the tree in the middle of the Garden.
That request wove its way in and out of the human race throughout the Bible.
What is that request?
